Hawks Youth Football

The Germantown Youth Football Club, a non-profit organization, dedicated to the youth of the community and the sport of football, sponsors the program. The GYFC was formed to allow students living in the Germantown School District or attending a school within the district's boundaries to play in an organized tackle football league. The GYFC is affiliated with the Wisconsin All American Youth Football League. The program is not affiliated with the Germantown School District or the Germantown Recreation Department.

The Hawks have teams at the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade levels of the AAYFL.

Our season begins in August and runs through October. The 8th grade grand championship game is played the first weekend of November.

Practices and home games for the Hawks are played at Friedenfeld Park.

Practices generally run in the range of 2 hours.

During August, teams may practice up to 5 times per week.

Once school starts teams will generally practice 3 times per week.

8 games will be played on Saturdays in September and October.

Game times may vary, but generally will follow this schedule -

• 9:00am - 8th Grade
• 10:45am - 7th Grade
• 12:15pm - 6th Grade
• 1:45pm - 5th Grade

Players are responsible for providing their own cleats and 5 pad girdle (can be purchased from a sporting goods store).

The Club will provide all other equipment and uniforms, which are to be returned in good clean condition at the end of the season.
